Opportunities for Service
Woodland would greatly appreciate your time and talent if you are interested in volunteering.
One of the major tasks is preparing the facilities and grounds in the spring before camp starts in June. There are many projects to choose from. Indoor needs are cleaning all the buildings, washing all the dishes, pots and pans, cleaning the stove and ovens, etc. Outdoor projects include raking leaves, cleaning flower beds, picking up sticks, mowing, etc. There are usually “handyman” projects for those who would like to tackle designated projects. If the weather permits, camp preparation work days will be Saturdays- April 13, 20 and 27 and May 11 and 18. The Spring Clean retreat for young people is May 5-7.
You may like to teach a Bible class, help assist with recreation/sports and assist with meal preparation or clean up.
We rely on volunteers to create life changing experiences for every camper who attends Woodland Bible Camp. Contact David Pound for questions and signing up to volunteer at poundhouse@aol.com.
